Personal Information:

I was born in the great state of Tennessee.  I grew up fishing with my grandfather, he is the one that got me hooked on fishing and taught me to have a great respect for the outdoors.  After graduating from high school, I joined the United States Army.  I spent the next 22 years traveling the world and fishing every chance I got.  I was lucky enough to fish in many diferent countries for all types of fish.  From Sharks to Peacock Bass.

I retired from the US Army in the Ft. Campbell KY area, finally settling in Indian Mound TN, which is located near the Cumberland River.  I got hooked on fishing for Trophy Sized Catfish and the rest is history.  I have been guiding for Trophy Sized Catfish for the last 12 years.  At the present time I have over 600 cats in the 50lb plus range in my boat, with my personal best of 92lbs.

I take great pride in the fact that I try my hardest to put my clients on a Trophy Sized Catfish.  Each trip is catered to the clients deisires.  Whether it is just to catch a big cat or learning how to read a depth finder, reading a river or learning the techniques used to catch bigger fish.  I spend a average of 4 days a week on the water, seeking that one big bite.

I also fish local tournaments and some of the Bass Pro Big Cat Quest and Cabellas tournaments.

OUTDOOR WRITING/TV SHOWS:

I have written several articles for various magazines relatiing to catfishing.  I have also been quoted in In-Fisherman, Catfish Gold and have several articles written in various newspapers.  I also did a show for Outdoor Life Network.

PUBLIC SPEAKING:

I have had the great opportunity to speak at several schools and local Catfishing clubs.  I have met with local and national officials many times.  I was very active in the recent effort to instill regulations on the conservation of our Trophy Catfish in Tennessee.  We finally got a law passed that allows a angler to keep only one catfish that is 34' or longer, and commercial fisherman may not keep any 34" or longer.  This law is a great step in preserving these great cats.

CONCLUSION:

I have experience in many areas that can benefit  your products.  I continually work to improve and pursue a more prominent place in the fishing world using the latest available resources.  especially the Internet, where I maintain an extensive website (www.trophycatfishing.com) with over 42,000 hits a year, that is devoted to the sport of fishing for Trophy Sized Catsfish.

I work hard to be a good, decent person and to set a positive ethical and personal example.  I hope my actions speak for themselves.  But I am strongly vocal when I support and believe in something.  I believe I can bring extra value to your product in many ways, in return for your support.  If you have any questions, I can be reached at 931-237-4999.
